Lipton appoints salt to handle sustainability comms brief

salt will target relevant consumers to promote the brand's eight year partnership with the Rainforest Alliance. The comms campaign will work primarily with digital content and drive engagement with key influencers.

The agency worked with Lipton in 2007 to launch the partnership with the Rainforest Alliance. It currently handles the global communications for Lipton's Green Tea business.

salt's team working on the brief is CEO Andy Last, chairman Richard Cox, business director Caroline Taylor, AD Katrina Brady, senior account manager Taryn Malakou and account exec Kiran Samra.

CEO Andy Last said: "More and more brands and corporates are seeing the benefits of finding and communicating a clear social purpose. Every day we see examples of how it can drive awareness, understanding, sales and employee engagement.

"We were there with Lipton right at the start of its Rainforest Alliance partnership and we are thrilled to be able to continue to work alongside an iconic, global brand with such clear values and vision.”
